It is still possible to mine BEAM with GeForce GTX 1060 3GB and GMiner on HiveOS. GMiner takes 2862MB on GPU0 and 2850MiB on GPU1-7:

To update NVidia driver from 390 to 410 I did:
nvidia-driver-update
When the miner stopped working I did:
sudo apt update
sudo apt dist-upgrade
nvidia-driver-update
reboot
but this did not help, because BeamHash III does not work on 3GB carts anymore, but with BeamHash II my shares were rejected.
